…more like working hard against the dream, but never the less, at least the title rhymes. The bigger we get, the harder it is for me to tell you wonderful industry friends and colleagues all the great things we are up to @MarvelMarketers. This year we had an end of year team offsite at the beautiful Chaminade Resort in Santa Cruz. We had a scavenger hunt, said “Thank You” to our epic team of Superheroes and most importantly set goals. One important goal for us (among a long list) includes accountability. I want to make sure that you know what you should hold us accountable for this year. In other words I want to make sure you know what we, as a first class Marketing Consultancy, are committing to in 2017.
#1 – We want to continue to be the best in the business
How? First and foremost, making sure it is obvious we have THE strongest brain trust in the industry. With that, I am super excited to announce the addition of @BrianLaw, my former buddy from Expert Services @Marketo as our newest Principal Consultant. It is our ability to attract top talent that will continue to allow us to remain at the top of the expertise ladder.
#2 – We want to continue to stay up to date in the Industry
How? By making sure that as the rest of the industry pivots toward ABM, that we pivot first. I announced it last year, but we continue to have amazing momentum in the ABM space, not only with our partnership with @Engagio, but also with the industry. We are very excited to have received our first Engagio Referral in 2016 and are looking forward to a phenomenal year of Marketing through the Account lens #awesome.
#3 – We want to make you as smart as we are
Everyone knows the hardest thing about our space is learning the discipline in a comprehensive, meaningful targeted way. There are so many barriers to learning the domain ranging from content and forum to instruction and trustworthiness. I am most proud to announce we have tackled this problem head on. And not just for ourselves and our own hiring but also for the industry with the launch of Professor M’s Academy for the Gifted in Automation. We had a hugely successful launch of our Marketo Training Bootcamp Level 1. Recently we have launched the industry’s first Marketo Training Level 2 (Full class in January BTW) and have two additional super secret trainings in development with 2017 reveals TBA . Stay tuned for more awesomeness in this area. Oh, and let’s not forget the launch of our Expert Blog. (You guys have to read my two odes to Marketing Automation on there)
#4 – We want to make sure we successfully grow past our inflection point
We can’t be small anymore. Our client’s pushed us big time to cross our t’s and dot our i’s this year. Thank goodness I had the long term vision to hire @JohnMarra our new Sr. Director of Professional Services last quarter to take on this task for me. Anyone who knows me can attest I cartwheel over t’s and jump over I s! But with the right talent focusing on the right tasks, we are now positioned to grow sustainably within the upcoming years all while implementing the appropriate documentation, process and methodology to make it go smoothly.
#5 – We want to extend our excellence in services beyond just Marketing Automation
This is the most exciting news. We are very good at taking care of clients. So why stop at just automation? We now officially offer Content Writing, Creative Services, ABM Strategy, ABM Implementation, Marketing Operations as well as Marketo Implementation and Strategy services (Not to mention a few others cooking in the background) From our maybe not so humble Marketing Automation roots, we can now offer a fuller suite of marketing services with the continued intent of making our clients incredibly successful.
